Lake Haven man charged with attempted murder
Allegedly shot man in buttocks.
A Lake Haven man has been refused bail to appear in court today, charged with robbery and the attempted murder of another man who was shot in the Hunter earlier in the year.
Police will allege the 37 year old shot the 40 year old in the buttocks in Muswellbrook on April 21st, following an argument.
Hunter Valley Police arrested the man in the Sydney suburb of Campbelltown yesterday morning, charging him with shoot with intent to murder, robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, discharge firearm intending to cause grievous bodily harm, and an outstanding warrant.
The 40 year old has since recovered after being treated at John Hunter Hospital.
