Lee was all about the TRC 2019/20 Budget today, taking a look at where our money goes and what it will cost us.

Toowoomba Regional Budget for the 2019/20 period has been handed down with TRC describing it as ‘maintaining and upgrading’.
Toowoomba Region Mayor Paul Antonio said Council’s $548 million financial plan would maintain and upgrade existing services and facilities while planning for a brighter future for current and successive generations.
Along with a new budget comes a new increase in our rates. Most of us can expect to pay extra $93 on our next rates bill.
The rate jump of 2.5 percent is the smallest increase in the last 10 years with the revenue going towards roads, water projects and parks and recreation.
