Light plane crashes into cane field
Two on board escape serious injury

Two people have escaped serious injury after their light plane crashed into sugar cane field west at Eviron, near Murwillumbah.
The aircraft flipped onto its roof when it came down about 8.15 am AEDT Friday.
It appears the pair managed to get out of they wreckage on their own.
Their ages and genders are yet to be verified.
