Light The Night Is Back And The Entire Community Is Invited!

Light the Night is back in Mackay and the entire community is invited! 

Locals will be coming together on October 12th, to light up the streets with a river of glowing lanterns in support of people who lost their fight against leukaemia and for those who are still fighting. 

As part of the event, participants will also have the opportunity to raise much needed funds for leukaemia research and to assist families living with blood cancer.

Following the walk, there will be plenty of food and entertainment on offer on the night, along with easy access for prams and wheel chairs. 

Jay and Dave touched base with Alicia from the Leukaemia foundation who shares her heartbreaking story and how YOU can shine a light on blood cancer.
