LISTEN | Australian Of The Year Dr. Richard Harris Chats About The Harrowing Thai Cave Rescue

South Australian Dr. Richard Harris was named co-Australian of the Year over the Australia Day long weekend.

Vascular surgeon Dr. Richard Harris received the prestigious award alongside Dr. Craig Challen, the other Australian who was heavily involved in last year's high risk rescue of a young boy's soccer team in Thailand.

This morning Harris joined Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide to speak through the initial planning process, and ultimately successful, rescue of everyone trapped inside the cave.

The honour being named Australian of the Year follows Dr. Harris being named South Australian of the Year in October last year.
