BOM's duty forecaster Angus called in to Clairsy, Matt and Kymba to give the lowdown on what happened yesterday with that friggin' big storm and, the news to watch out for is that there might be more of the same coming in the next couple of days.

LISTEN:

Angus went to explain how that storm essentially ran its line over Perth yesterday.

"Often we get a lot of storm activity east of the scarp and on the hills and that's usually due to the trough that's more or less a permanent feature during this time of year,

At this point this trough is just sitting a little bit off-shore, so that's actually dragged a lot of that activity we usually see over inland areas closer to the coast, so that's what we've seen over the last couple of days and there's potential for that to happen again today."

Much of Perth copped a battering yesterday, the northern suburbs in particular, so to hear that we may get similar activity suggests that everyone had best prepare their properties as best you can.

Clairsy, Matt and Kymba spoke with many #Perth people this morning and we got so many amazing stories, we just had to put them all together in one neat little package.
