A frustrated Dyson Heppell has told Triple M players who aren't playing the "Essendon game style" can "go back to the twos".
LISTEN TO HEPPELL:
Heppell joined Triple M after the game in which Essendon recorded yet another disappointing loss, going down by 23 points at the hands of Hawthorn.
The Bombers recorded just 39 inside 50s for the day - the lowest of any team in 2018 to date - and had 27 less tackles and 64 less pressure acts.
Heppell said post match the team was "gutted", but delivered a stern message about buying in.
"Whoever you are on this side, if you’re not willing to buy into our game style, other guys are going to get look ins," he told Triple M.
"These things might have to happen. If you’re not playing our way, you can go back to the twos."
