Collingwood president - and Triple M's own - Eddie McGuire has clarified reports about Port Adelaide's prison bar jumpers, saying he is happy to work with the Power over letting them wear the jumper.

The Power are looking to wear their prison bar next year for their 150th anniversary, a jumper that also matches Collingwood's black and white stripes.

Eddie told Roo and Ditts it was a "magnificent milestone" and clarified that the Pies are happy to work with the Power over the jumper.

"I get sick of this," he said.

"Every time that Port Adelaide has asked for permission to wear the jumper, Collingwood has acquiesced.

"What we need to do is let the Adelaide Advertiser and others try and fizz this into something that it's not."
