LISTEN: Former Deputy PM John Anderson Warns Against Oakeshott & Early Voting

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson has warned the people of Cowper against Rob Oakeshott.

The former Nationals leader said that he has known independent candidate Rob Oakeshott since he was a young man, fresh out of uni, who applied for a job with him.

Over the years he has watched Mr Oakeshott drift further and further to the left.

"We do not want the chaos he brought upon us when he elected to support the Gillard minority government", Mr Anderson told Triple M.

Mr Anderson also encouraged voters to wait until election day, rather than voting early in case things happen in the final days that may change the position of the voting public.
