Hamish McLachlan joined Triple M's Hot Breakfast to review the fried rice incident between Quarters and Chief 10 years ago.
In doing so, he had the whole team in stitches with an unheard detail about Quarters from the fallout of the incident!
HAMISH'S HILARIOUS STORY ABOUT THE FRIED RICE INCIDENT:
McLachlan was calling that day for Triple M, and was the man who uttered that famous "so, Stevo" line that tried and failed to get the pre-game chat back on track after the fried rice was thrown.
His story about what happened after Quarters returned has to be heard.
That's because Quarters had missed something.
"He goes down to the front row, and he turns around, no one's sure what to say," he recalled.
"I look at Mark Stevens and we all decide to say nothing.
"I still think, years on, did he get home, look in the mirror and go 'oh no'?"
