The Australian construction industry has a crisis on its hands – and Brisbane is right in the middle of it. After recent structural defects has seen apartment buildings evacuated in Sydney and flammable cladding issues being identified in Melbourne a recent boom in the construction of apartment buildings in the River City has raised questions over their livability.

With over 600,000 of these apartments being built over the past twenty years The Big Breakfast audience didn’t hold back this morning when asked if they were aware of poor construction being done on these developments.
