Triple M's Andrew Jarman has dropped some significant mail on the decision making behind the scenes relating to Port Adelaide's next captain.

JARS' MAIL ON PORT ADELAIDE'S NEXT CAPTAIN:

There has been speculation Port Adelaide would choose two co-captains - Ollie Wines and Tom Jonas - for 2019 after Travis Boak stepped down from the role.

But Jars, speaking on Triple M's Rush Hour with Jars and Louie, believes coach Ken Hinkley has something else in mind

"He wants to stick with tradition, but he’s got a fight on his hands, from what I’m hearing," he told Triple M Adelaide on Thursday.

"Watch this space."
