LISTEN | Stevie J's Hilarious Story About His Goal Kicking Bets With Buddy Franklin At Training

Sydney assistant coach Stevie J joined Triple M's Dead Set Legends on Saturday morning, and revealed to the guys he's been having goal kicking competitions at training with Lance Franklin!

STEVIE J EXPLAINS:

Two of the greatest and cleverest goal kickers of all time are paired up at Sydney, and Stevie J told the guys on Dead Set Legends they've been going head to head.

"Only as recently as Friday I took $50 off him!" he laughed.

"He doesn't pay up though! He should be taking me outside 50 metres and trying to get me to have shots from there, because I can't kick over a jam tin. But in the pocket, that's my go."

He confirmed there was a bit of back and forth between the two.

"It's underrated, his trash talk actually," he said.

"He doesn't mind talking himself up when he's comfortable around people."
