Adelaide co-captain Tex Walker has told Roo & Ditts which player has stood out the most this pre-season, expecting him to get a look-in early in the season.

WALKER PUMPS UP AN ADELAIDE DRAFTEE:

Walker joined Roo & Ditts for Breakfast in the wake of being confirmed as Adelaide's co-captain alongside Rory Sloane for 2019.

He promised to tell the guys which player had impressed on the training track the most so far this pre-season, and finally delivered before the interview wrapped up.

"You did the big hook about the player that's improved!" Roo said.

Tex's answer? One of their draftees.

"He's been going really well, loves hard work. He's a very intelligent footballer," he said.

"I think he can help us get better ASAP. I reckon (he'll play early on), yeah."
