Much of the concern around the pandemic that has gripped our lives for the past few weeks has centred around the myriad of Cruise ships stuck at sea and today, Clairsy, Matt and Kymba spoke with Di on the Vasco da Gama, currently stuck off Freo, for her take as a passenger on one of these ill-fated ships.

Di revealed that the passengers are fearing the "slap in the face" they are about to receive when disembarking off the ship, telling us that they've been shielded as such from the rest of the world, with regard to how severe Covid-19 has been.

LISTEN:

"...we had the reverse situation to you guys, you've seen the progress of this pandemic, slowly but surely... we've been totally isolated by that. We're more frightened of leaving the boat and coming in contact with people who may give us the virus"

Sobering indeed!

The chat in full is truly a story from the other side. It's an insight into what life has been like, stuck on a cruise ship as the world goes through the most unprecedented of times.
