Former St Kilda and current Essendon star Brendon Goddard is playing what is almost certainly his last game tomorrow night against Port Adelaide.
He’ll go out with 334 games, at least 160 goals, two All-Australian guernseys and a best and fairest — and one of the greatest grand final moments of all time.
With scores level and seven minutes to go in the eventually drawn 2010 grand final, BJ took an unbelievably massive hanger and kicked a goal to put the Saints ahead.
In celebration of Goddard’s career, we trawled through the archives and found our call of it — we even had Rex Hunt on the books back then!
