St Kilda recruit Dan Hannebery has suffered a small road bump in his quest to line up in round one for his new club.
Triple M’s Tom Browne revealed exclusively that Hannebery has “nicked” his hamstring.
“I think he might have nicked his hamstring which has restricted his training in recent weeks,” Browne said on the Hot Breakfast this morning.
“It will involve a little bit of a setback to his preseason.”
Hannebery who suffered a knee injury in the 2016 grand final has not been the same player since, undergoing a series of knee and calf problems which have restricted his pre-season’s over the past two years.
Browne also revealed that he was “reliably informed over the weekend” that Hannebery is “off the boos” in order to return to peak fitness.
