The Friday Huddle has seen its first controversy of 2019, with Tom Browne putting his used chewing gum in the eye of Howie’s binoculars during half-time of the Collingwood v Geelong game.
Howie (quite reasonably) blew up about it.

He initially accused Nathan Brown and Chris Judd of doing it, then finally confronted Tom Browne during the third quarter.
“You’ll never be working on this station again!” Howie said.
“That’s it for you!”
