Hot Breakfast chief footy reporter Tom Browne says that GWS stars Josh Kelly and Stephen Coniglio are likely to be the biggest trade stories of 2019.

Coniglio will be a free agent at the end of the 2019 season, while Kelly is out of contract but not eligible for free agency.

The interest in the two Giants follows a recent spate of players leaving the club, with Rory Lobb, Tom Scully, Dylan Shiel, Devon Smith and Nathan Wilson amongst the exiting players in the last two years alone.

Kelly has been persistently linked with a move back to Melbourne after being drafted with pick 2 in the 2013 draft, with North Melbourne tabling a huge $9 million bid in 2017.

Coniglio — pick 2 in the 2011 draft — is a Western Australian native, having won a WAFL premiership with Swan Districts before being drafted to the Giants.
