Wayne Carey has predicted that Patrick Cripps will be the number one player in the competition by the end of season 2019.

Duck did not hold back in his praise for Cripps on The Sunday Rub, labelling him as a "bonafide star".

"When he gets that mix right when he drifts forward and hits the scoreboard a bit more I think Paddy Cripps will be the number one player in the competition by the end of this year."
