Lithgow Car Crash Leaves 6yo Girl In Critical Condition

A six-year-old girl is has been left critically injured after a horror crash near Lithgow.

NSW Police say the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon around 3:35pm on Sunny Corner Road in Portland, involving a 30-year-old female driver believed to be her mother, with two girls, both aged four, also in the vehicle.

The girl is currently recovering in Westmead Children's Hospital, with investigators working out the specific circumstances leading up to the collision.

Any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage have been urged to come forward.
