Power remains out in parts of Lake Macquarie. This tree has brought down powerlines at Tingira Heights. Ausgrid says repairs are continuing.

• Blacksmiths (66mm)
• Nords Wharf (64mm)
• Gresford (63mm)

Strong winds are also blowing through the Hunter. Gusts of 80km/h were recorded at Nobbys Beach at 6:30am.

Power is out to hundreds of homes in Lake Macquarie.

Flooding is affecting King Street at Warners Bay near the roundabout, however the road remains open for now.

The Weir Road at Barnsley is closed.
