Local Bakery's Monster Donut Challenge Proving Too Hard To Beat

Did you know. There's a bakery in Singleton that offers up a monster donut challenge?

Neither did we... so we checked it out and as it turns out, it's proven to be quite the challenge.

Steve from Surfside Bakery confirmed that the challenge is simple.

You simply buy the donut for $35, and if you can eat it in 30 minutes or less without throwing up, or with any help from others, then you walk away with $200. You have to book in the challenge 24 hours before, which must mean that it's freshly baked :)

To date, they've had 148 challengers and only 1 has succeeded.

We did some searching and found the guy that did it.

He might feel a little ripped off, as way back in March 2014, the carrot was only $100. Now that it's $200, there's a line of guys who have failed the challenge... which is probably a good thing.
