Local Brewer Greg Clarke Joins 'Drinkers for Ukraine' Fundraiser

As the Russian invasion continues in Ukraine, a number of brewing experts have been working together to raise funds to send overseas to help victims of the Ukrainian conflict.

Angie chats to professional brewer Greg Clarke, who has teamed up with a number of other industry experts to brew 700 litres of ‘Resist’ – a traditional Ukrainian stout.

The brew is set to be sold on Friday evening at the Rose Hotel as part of the ‘Drinkers for Ukraine’ fundraiser originally launched by certified Ukrainian Cicerone Lana Svitankova, the team behind UK’s Ferment Magazine and Belgium beer writer Eoghan Walsh.

Greg reveals how he became involved in the fundraiser, which unique ingredient was used to create the perfect stout and what the money raised will be used for.
