Local Footy Match Delayed To Watch Winx

A Riddell District Football League match was yesterday put on held as players and fans alike stopped to watch the big screen as Winx won her final race.

The second half of the RDFL Grand Final between Riddell and Diggers Rest was set to kick off at 3pm but upon request of Riddell players, was postponed until after the 3:05pm race.

The great mare won her 33rd consecutive race with Diggers Rest coming out on top in the footy match.
