Local Police Officer Explains Decision To Check Car Registrations In Peak Hour Traffic
What do you think?
On Monday morning, police were situated between Shepparton and Mooroopna on the Midland Highway performing registration checks during peak hour traffic (8am-11am).
The choice in timing caused significant upset within the community, adding up to 2 hours for some drivers on their regular morning route, with speeds reduced to 40km/hr and traffic reduced to one lane.
Have a listen to Seany's chat with local police officer Detective A/Senior Sergeant Mark Crossley below, then let us know in the Facebook comments if you think the choice in timing was justified.
