Locations For "Wave Pool" Have Been Leaked

Mackay Regional Council has yet to comment after potential sites for the Wave Pool construction have been revealed. East Point, Town Beach and the popular Gooseponds the 3 front runners for the construction. Catherine Muscovy from the D.A.O.T. has concerns that draining the Gooseponds to construct the Wave Pool will force ducks and other wildlife to find another place to live. The Wave Pool construction has been a brain child of Mackay Region Cr Ross Gee.
A sick camper has had to cut their holiday short at Whitehaven Beach. The RACQ CQ Rescue was called to help the thirty five year old Blacks Beach woman around two yesterday morning. As she got sicker her husband hiked to Tongue Point to call triple zero. Medical crews worked for almost an hour to stabilise the woman on the beach before flying her to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Five people, including a toddler, have been taken to Proserpine Hospital following a two car crash on the Bruce Highway. Paramedics were called to the Taylor Street intersection around 10 yesterday morning. Two women in their thirties, a teenage girl, a man in his forties and a young boy were taken to hospital in stable conditions. Police remained on scene awaiting tow trucks.
