Brisbane Prop Matt Lodge has revealed what the new-age treatment he underwent to recover from a debilitating knee injury in time to be picked to come off the bench for tomorrow night’s clash against Parramatta.
Lodge, 24, aggravated and existing ACL tear whilst changing direction during a routine training drill in February and Broncos fans feared it would be the last that they would see of the man tipped as future captain for the year
However, Lodge, appears to have used the NRL shutdown to his advantage, opting not to undergo surgery and focus on his recovery. Now, sensationally, Lodge will line up against the Eels tomorrow night in the hope that his team can slay their demons from last year’s nightmare elimination final and remain undefeated in their start to the season.
Speaking this morning on The Big Breakfast, NRL insider Dobbo told listeners that Lodge had undergone a more unconventional method to assist with his knee, crediting visualization as a key element to the recovery.
HERE’S HOW HE DID IT
