Victorians looking to get the Pfizer vaccine could be waiting up to a month as Spring St and Canberra squabble over vaccines and the state’s booking system.

104,000 Victorians are now fully vaccinated, but the state's mass vaccination hubs are turning away walk-ins as requests for the Pfizer jab dry up supply.

Shadow Health Minister Georgie Crozier has called for reassurance that Victorian's waiting on their second dose will get priority.

"It happens in other state's around the country, yet Victoria hasn't put the infrastructure in place, they haven't done the basics and as a result we have got a real mess, it’s a debacle"

Dr Andrew Miller from the Australian Medical Association believes we have been dispersing it too quickly to younger Victorians.

"The trouble is we've been rolling it out to quickly to younger people without making sure the 50's and above who are a lot more vulnerable are being looked after"

Dr Miller also said in an interview on Nine that in Australia we are not seeing the kind of advertising and campaigns that are being delivered internationally.
