Lord Mayor Sally Capp Outlines Melbourne's Roadmap To Recovery

Melbourne's Lord Mayor, Sally Capp, met with Premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews on Friday and she joined The Hot Breakfast to tell us about how that went and outline how she sees the road to recovery for our great city.

Capp said she spoke with Andrews about this not just being a health crisis but also an economic one that affects not only lives but livelihoods. There is a large team of people working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get us up and running and the Lord Mayor gave us an outline of what that might look like.

From allocating streets to be one-way-only when it comes to walking and to open up some of the city's smaller streets to cars and pedestrians as the latter will require greater space for social distancing, it's all being considered and implications worked through.
