Cairns couple to hit the road in style after $1 million Gold Lotto win

A retired Cairns couple is already planning on buying an RV and touring Australia in style after last night winning the division one prize of $1 million in Wednesday Gold Lotto.

While the couple were the only Queensland winners from last night’s draw, they have continued Far North Queensland’s lotto winning streak. 
 
So far this year, Far North Queensland entries have won four division one prizes – equating to about one win a month.  A fortnight ago, another Cairns man won $1 million, also in midweek Gold Lotto. 

The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their winning System 7 entry from Trinity Beach News, Shop 8, Coastwatchers Shopping Centre
