Country’s newest superstar Luke Combs has achieved Platinum certification with the RIAA for his critically acclaimed debut album “This One’s For You” surpassing one billion career streams globally.

Combs career breakthrough was announced by Stephen Colbert, the standout host of CBS’ “Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” before Combs’ heart-wrenching performance of “One Number Away” last Tuesday night.

‘This One’s For You’ is the fastest debut country album to receive the Platinum crown since Chris Stapleton’s Traveller in 2015.

In the past year since his debut release, Combs has accomplished unparalleled success with three consecutive No. 1 singles at Country radio – 2x Platinum “Hurricane,” Platinum “When It Rains It Pours,” and Gold “One Number Away.” He reigned atop the Billboard Country Albums Chart for seven weeks and ‘This One’s For You’ remains the most streamed country album of 2018.

Combs chose the newly recorded version of long-time, fan favourite “She Got the Best of Me” as his fourth single to be released to country radio, the single comes from his recently released deluxe album.

The song is a nod to Combs’ early fans and the then unknown songwriters who teamed up with him before there were sold-out crowds and chart-topping success.
