A Lamborghini, McLaren and BMW has been seized alongside drugs and cash with NSW Police arresting two men over their alleged roles in a Sydney drug syndicate.
Following extensive inquiries Strike Force Nymcoola detectives yesterday arrested a 34-year-old Bexley man during a vehicle stop at Arncliffe just before 1.30pm yesterday, charging him with large commercial drug supply, knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime, and participate in criminal group.
Less than an hour later at about 2.10pm, detectives arrested a 21-year-old man at a commercial premises at Double Bay where he was charged with identical offences.
Both men were refused bail to appear at Sutherland and Waverley Local Courts today.
Shortly after the arrests, State Crime Command’s Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad (MEOCS) officers, assisted by South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad, executed three search warrants at homes at Arncliffe, Lewisham, and Rockdale.
Detectives seized a BMW E90 series, a 2016 Lamborghini, a 2015 McLaren, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, banking documentation, various bank cards, passports, mobile phones, computers, laptops, and more than $70,000 cash.
Investigations under Strike Force Nymcoola are continuing and further arrests are expected.
