Heat captain Chris Lynn has promised Heat fans consistency ahead of his side’s first game of BBL10 tonight against the Melbourne Stars.

Lynn, who enters his third season in charge of the franchise, has been clear in past weeks that his team has not met the lofty expectations they had set in the past, acknowledging that despite his side’s strike power in the batting department they have failed to capitalise on their full potential.

Speaking to Summer Breakfast with Josh Lynn, who is fresh off dominating local premier cricket, told beleaguered Brisbane fans that this year will be different to past seasons where despite starting as tournament favourites have consistently missed finals.

“A bit more consistency, we’ve got some young guys ready in the group ready to make a stamp on Australian cricket”
