Machete Attack In Sydney's South West Sees Man Lose Finger
Police say attack was 'targeted'
A man has been seriously injured in a machete attack at Carramar in Sydney's south-west, losing one of his fingers.
NSW Ambulance paramedics called to a unit on River Avenue just after 5am, where they found a 43-year-old man with severe injuries to his left arm and extensive cuts to other parts of his body, which are non-life threatening.
He's now in a serious condition in Liverpool Hospital with a search now underway for the man responsible.
Police believe the men are known to each other and the attack was targeted.
