Suncorp has compiled a list of the worst hot spots for bad traffic accidents across Central Queensland and Mackay. A Mackay section of the Bruce Highway received top spot with 239 crashes between Rockhampton and Townsville over the past Five years. Eighteen of those accidents were fatal. It was followed by Gladstone's Dawson Highway.
