Magarey Medallist Bryce Gibbs On His Departure From The Crows

South Adelaide Panther and former Adelaide Crow Bryce Gibbs was awarded the Magarey medal last night after a tied win with James Tsitas.

Gibbs spoke to Ditts, Loz and Gleeso this morning about not just his SANFL career, but also his time in the AFL which came to an end in 2020 at the Adelaide Crows.

“I did retire under circumstances that I didn’t think I would. I still thought I had some good footy left in me and there just wasn’t going to be any opportunities for me to continue my AFL career.”

“I didn’t think I needed to prove anything more in my career, deep down I wanted to.”
