Parramatta hooker Reed Mahoney will be sweating on the outcome of teammate Felise Kaufusi’s tripping charge tonight at the judiciary with twenty-three year old waiting still waiting to see whether he will secure his spot in Paul Green’s side to face New South Wales next Wednesday night at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Speaking on The Big Breakfast with Marto & Margaux NRL insider Dobbo revealed that, despite reports, Storm hooker Harry Grant is destined to start in the number nine jersey in Townsville with Mahoney’s place in the seventeen riding on the Kaufusi decision.

“Harry Grant will start, Reed Mahoney will not be in the seventeen unless Felise Kaufusi fails tonight and if that’s the case then potentially Cohen Hess comes in there or they change someone to the bench and they might bring Reed Mahoney on” Dobbo told listeners

“At this moment he’s the nineteenth man and he’s part of the squad.”
