A North Gosford construction site has been shut down as the Delta outbreak continues to rear its ugly head here on the Coast.

There are fears of a seeding event after an infected worker was on-site for six days while infectious.

All staff have gone into mandatory two-week isolation with frantic contact tracing now underway.

All staff have gone into mandatory two-week isolation with frantic contact tracing now underway.

Altogether, six new cases were identified on the Central Coast on Monday, and all of the cases were out in the community while infectious.

Authorities are also worried about potential undetected cases roaming around with fragments of the virus detected in sewage at Charmhaven, Kincumber, Bateau Bay, and Toulkey.

Health officials are reminding us to regularly check exposure sites with Coles Wyoming being added to the list.
