Make Someone In Need Smile This Christmas Season

The most wonderful time of the year is right around the corner!

But for many people in our local community dealing with financial crisis, family breakdown, disability or social isolation, the holiday season can be an upsetting or stressful time.

City Centre Plaza would like your help to put a smile on the faces of struggling families this Christmas, by donating non-perishable food items to be included in gift hampers!

Every year, Anglicare Central Queensland works with local churches and organisations to deliver hundreds of these hampers to those in need, to make sure more Central Queenslanders have a gift waiting for them under the Christmas tree.

We are always proud of how the Rockhampton community steps in and helps out when called upon and City Centre Plaza is thrilled to offer a location point for donations. By purchasing one item extra in your weekly shop, you can make a big difference to someone’s Christmas.

The City Centre Plaza Food Drive will run from 12^th November - 24^th December. Donations can be placed in the cage outside Coles.

And do you dread having to wrap all your Christmas presents at the last minute, or waiting in endless lines to buy wrapping paper or sticky tape? Instead, head into City Centre Plaza to have your gifts wrapped in support of Anglicare Central Queensland!

Funds raised through the gift wrapping initiative will go towards helping local families in need. Gift wrapping will run from the 26^th November until Christmas Eve at City Centre Plaza.

So get into the Christmas spirit this holiday season, and give something small to make a BIG difference.
