The Crows' bid for a Brompton HQ could be back on the table if opposition leader Peter Malinauskas wins this weekend's election.

Speaking to Roo, Ditts and Loz this morning, alongside incumbent South Australian premier Steven Marshall, Malinauskas confirmed Labor will revive the club's failed plans for a new HQ.

“I was actually excited about the proposition - and of course, we’ve got a policy to keep it live on the table if we do form government on the weekend,” he said, highlighting the proposition would also give local families more green space.

Earlier this year, the South Australian government selected Melbourne-based MAB Corporation as its preferred bidder for the site's redevelopment, with plans for a hotel, housing and retail space.

“If we form Government, we will immediately reveal and review the process the current Government used that came up with an interstate Melbourne developer,” Malinauskas said.  He says as the contract is not yet signed on the dotted line, the option for the Crows is still a possibility.

Marshall however cautioned what message throwing out a deal might send to investors and businesses planning on investing in South Australia.
