Member for Mallee Andrew Broad has welcomed the announcement of a Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
The agreement is set to deliver new trade agreements between parties and will include speeding up growth in the Pacific region.
Under the partnership, beef, sheep, dairy, wine, horticulture, seafood, cereals and grain commodities are all set to see better prices for farmers by making these products more competitive in CPTPP countries, including Japan, Chile, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Brunei.
Mr. Broad says the CPTPP is a multi-billion-dollar win for jobs, businesses, farmers and consumers across the electorate.
