Man and Woman Charged Following Drug Bust in Dalby

A Dalby man and woman have both been charged with drug offences following raids carried out on properties in the area Saturday.

A search warrant was executed at a Western Downs home on Saturday morning, subsequently leading to the arrest of a 22-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man.

Following up on their investigations, police attended

As result of further investigations, police went to a rural property where a number of mature marijuana plants were found to be growing.  Police seized the plants.

The man has been charged with trafficking and supplying a dangerous drug as well as producing and possessing a dangerous drug, while the woman has been charged with producing and possessing a dangerous drug.

The pair were released on bail with a notice to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on March 19.
