Man Arrested Following Murchison Fatal Collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following a fatal collision in Murchison this morning (31 January).

A 76-year-old Tatura man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The male victim, who is yet to be formally identified, was located deceased on the Murchsion-Violet Town Road about 3.10am by a passing motorist.

The investigation remains ongoing.
