Man Charged After Horrifying Frankston One Punch Attack

A man has been charged over an unprovoked assault in Melbourne last week.

Police say a 43-year-old Frankston North man was assaulted by one of three men as they walked past each other along the Nepean Highway about 7.45pm on Thursday.

A 32-year-old Frankston South man has been charged with intentionally causing injury and will appear at the Frankston Magistrates' Court on Monday, while a second man was released pending further inquiries.

Horrifying footage of the attack shows three men walking towards a man in a hoodie, before one of them men punches the victim in the face. The man falls and hits his head on the footpath and the three men walk away laughing. 

The footage was released by police in an attempt to identify the men involved.
