A man has been charged following a road rage incident in Sydney yesterday.

The incident happened at approximately 7.50am on Wednesday, with a 23-year-old cyclist hit by a car and threatened by a driver.

The incident was reported to officers at Ashfield police station.

 Earlier today, a man was arrested and taken to Burwood police station. He was charged with negligent driving (not occasioning death), common assault and stalk/intimidate intent fear physical harm.

He has been granted conditional bail and will appear at Burwood Local Court on September 25.
