Man Charged with 77 Offences Faces a Toowoomba Court
Remanded on Bail
A 46-year-old man has fronted a Toowoomba Magistrates Court charged with a number of serious offences, mainly related to child sex and assault.
The man faced court on 77 charges, including 7 counts of rape, 1 of torture, 1 attempted rape, 41 assault charges, 1 attempted beastiality and animal cruelty.
Police will allege that the incidents happened in various locations but the majority taking place in the Lockyer Valley between 2004 and 2012.
The accused made a brief appearance in court before being remanded on bail under strict conditions. He was not required to enter a plea.
A committal mention is set for November 29th.
