A man is hospital after being crushed by more than a tonne of pallets at a factory in Wetherill Park this morning.

According to a statement, the CareFlight helicopter was called to the scene just after 10.30am, where they tended to the 24-year-old's "serious leg injury".

It's believed that the pallet was holding glass, and fell from about a metre.

The man was taken by road ambulance to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
