Man Dies After Mayfield Unit Fire
He was dragged out unconscious

A man's lost his life following a fire at Mayfield early yesterday morning.
The 65 year old was dragged unconscious from his smoke-logged unit in Fawcett Street at around 5:30am on Sunday.
He was given CPR by firefighters, until paramedics arrived.
Police say he died a short time later in the Mater hospital.
It appears the fire started from a heater which had been left on overnight.
