Man Dies After Scaffolding Collapsed On Workers At Macquarie Park

In breaking news, a man has died after being trapped at a worksite in Macquarie Park.

At 12.20pm today, emergency services were called out to the construction site on Epping Road, with reports of scaffolding collapsing on workers.

One worker has died at the scene, with another transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

The workers were stuck under a large pile of scaffolding, building debris and concrete.

Two citybound lanes of Epping Road were closed near Delhi Road, but have since reopened, with emergency services remaining at the scene.

NSW Police have established a crime scene and an investigation is underway.
